How to grow iris:
1. When planting, it is advisable to use well-drained and moderately moist soil. Decomposed compost should be applied before planting, and oil meal, plant ash, etc. can also be used as base fertilizer. The planting depth of the plant should be 5 cm below the ground on the top of the rhizome on well-drained orange soil, and slightly higher than the ground on the clay soil to facilitate plant growth.
2. Iris enjoys plenty of sunlight and is slightly tolerant to shade. After planting, increase the light of the iris to facilitate the development of flower spikes.
3. Base fertilizer can be applied before planting, and chemical fertilizer can be applied during growth period. Watering depends on the situation, watering once a week during the growth period, and the amount of watering will gradually decrease as the temperature drops. In areas with colder winters, the plants should be covered with manure or leaves to prevent cold.
